      Rabbi Robert N. Levine, DD, led Congregation Rodeph Sholom for three decades, its tenth Senior Rabbi from to An inspiring teacher, speaker, counselor, and frequent guest of local and national media, he has been beloved by congregants and community alike.

      Ruth (nee Cohen) Cohn, of Philadelphia,
      passed away peacefully on January 2,
      at age She is survived by her children
      Bruce (Fayne) and Gary (Marcy), her grand-
      children, Rachel (Cory), Sheara, Dara (Jeff)
      and Julie (Andrew), and great-grandchildren
      Nathan, Emily and Jacob. She was preceded
      in death by the love of her life, Jerry, her par-
      ents, Israel and Clara Cohen, and her brother
      Bernie (Pearl) Cohen. Ruth was born in Read-
      ing, PA and grew up in Atlantic City, where
      she worked in her family’s fabric store. She
      went to school to study fashion design. After
      moving to Philadelphia, she enjoyed working
      at Bonwit Teller. While her children were
      growing up, she went back to work at The
      Northeast Regional Public Library, where she
      loved working with and teaching children.

      Ruth was an avid reader and talented artist.
