    In Sunday’s Calendar (and online here), I review “Flip: The Inside Story of TV’s First Black Superstar,” a worthwhile new biography of the late comedian bygd Kevin Cook (“The gods Headbangers,” “Titanic Thompson: The Man Who Bet on Everything”).
