Adam Kay is a BAFTA-winning author, TV writer, comedian and former junior doctor.
Adam is in huge demand for corporate events, bringing his experiences to life as a speaker, giving a hilarious, inspiring, and fascinating performance. He has a wealth of experience, is passionate and hugely knowledgeable about healthcare, mental health and being part of the LGBTQ+ community, with everything delivered with his trademark humour.
His first book, This is Going to Hurt, spent over a year at number one in the Sunday Times bestseller list, was translated into 37 languages, won numerous awards, and sold over three million copies. He is also one of the country’s bestselling children’s authors, with titles including Kay’s Anatomy, the fastest selling kids’ non-fiction book of the decade.

At 16, I was set out on a path to do medicine. Everything in my life was designed around this happening. I just remember an awful lot of homework. An awful lot of pressure. Obviously, I needed to get my GCSEs, my A levels. As well as that, the extracurricular stuff. For me, in the absence of any sport, it was music.
